About Devenish College
An exciting innovative new Art project begins this October in collaboration with Kidsown publishing group based in Sligo and Belfast based artist Colin McGookin. Head of Art Miss Myrtle Dennis and Head of Music Mr L Connolly will be bringing their expertise to the project. The project will focus on a year nine group in the school developing and exploring ideas through the arts and new technology.

Musical Sculptures
November 24th, 2006This is Rachel working on the frame of her sculpture. She has used willows and newspaper to construct the frame.
Term 1
November 10th, 2006 Practical sessions have started with Colin McGookin. We have discussed the theme ‘reflection’ and integrated reflective materials in the construction of various sculptures.
